The transition from the current project funded form of the Stem Cell Network North Rhine-Westphalia" to the new permanent funding of the Stem Cell Network goes along with personnel changes in the main office.

As of 01.01.2019, Susanne Luzum will start full-time as a team assistant at the main office in the Life Science Center in Düsseldorf. Ms. Luzum already has many years of experience in similar areas and we are looking forward to the future cooperation.

Unfortunately, Martin Heyer, who was for the last 16 years responsible for the Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects, leaves us at his own request on Dec, 31 2018 and will be self-employed in the future. Mr. Heyer was highly involved during all the years to set up and further develop the network and made a significant contribution to the succes of the network. We thank Mr. Heyer for the good cooperation and wish him all the best for his future!

Currently the application process for a successor is onging.

We appreciate that our student assistant Julia Mirkin will continue to support us next year, and Mrs. Rebecca Pieper will also be working for the network until the end of February.
