New Faces at the Stem Cell Network NRW coordination office

With effect of November 30^th 2022, Dr. Sira Groscurth, managing director of the Stem Cell Network NRW (at the beginning still Kompetenznetzwerk Stammzellforschung NRW) since 2018, has left us at her own request to devote herself to new challenges. Dr. Aljoscha Berve, previously science manager and contact person for ethical, legal and social science aspects of stem cell research, succeeded her in November.

Kathrin Sommer, who took over tasks in the area of project funding and finance since the end of 2020, also left the team of the coordination office at her own request.

We thank Dr. Groscurth and Ms. Sommer for the always very good cooperation and wish them only the best for the future!

Since February 1^st 2023 Anja Winkler supports the team of the coordination office of the Stem Cell Network.NRW as a clerk for finances and allocation. Ms. Winkler has a degree in business administration and already has many years of experience in similar areas.

On February 15^th, Dr. Stefan Hoffmann took up his position as science manager. He studied life sciences and biotechnology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and received his doctorate there in 2018. Among other things, Dr. Hoffmann is dedicated to the translation of biomedical research into application and will support the managing director in coordinating the work of our committees.

We welcome Ms. Winkler and Dr. Hoffmann and very much look forward to further collaboration.
