My research group is concerned with the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of bone marrow stem cells and the resulting differentiation of myeloid blood cells. Furthermore, we are interested in mechanisms of leukemia and the immune function of mature myeloid cells. We work baseline-oriented and use both cell lines and genetically engineered mice to answer our scientific questions.
