Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the 10th International Meeting of the Stem Cell Network NRW will not take place on June 8 and 9, 2020, but will be postponed to March 29 and 30, 2021.
The new member institutions of the Stem Cell Network NRW are now also represented on the Board of Representatives, and the office team welcomes two new staff members.
On March 6, research institutions all over North Rhine-Westphalia welcomed hundreds of high school students to the "UniStem Day". Activities were offered in Münster, Bochum, Witten, Essen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, Rheinbach and Aachen.

In recent months, the Stem Cell Network NRW offered various trainings and workshops for scientists. The focus was on translation topics, and a total of almost 80 scientists took part in the various activities.
Preparations for the next International Meeting, which will take place in Aachen on June 8/9, 2020, have been under way for several months. Eleven stem cell researchers from the USA, Japan and various European countries have already agreed to give a lecture.
At the end of November, 170 scientists from the Stem Cell Network NRW met at the Gustav-Stresemann Institute in Bonn for the 12th Internal Meeting.
