The international action day on stem cell research – UniStem Day – will take place this year for the 12th time! On March 6, eleven institutes in North Rhine-Westphalia open their doors to give interested pupils insight into research and to deepen their knowledge in the field of stem cell research. In addition to an overview of the current state of research, the pupils will have the opportunity to conduct experiments by themselves or to discuss possible ethical issues associated with stem cell research and its application.

Offers are available all-over North Rhine-Westphalia – from Münster to Aachen – and are carried out either by institutes addressing biomedical research questions about stem cells or ethical aspects. Here you can find further information and an overview of the offers in NRW.
