The EuroGCT (European Consortium for Communicating Gene and Cell Therapy Information) draws together pan-European leading research institutions in the fields of cell and gene therapy with experts from the fields of product development and ELSA, patient representatives and science communicators in the development of a comprehensive Europe-wide information resource on the topics of gene and cell therapies.

The first work packages of the project, which is scheduled to run for five years, are to be completed before the end of 2021. Following the definition of a project structure and the decision on the structure of the project's final homepage, work on the content of the work packages has now begun. The goal of the work in the ELSA section of the project for the next steps is to discuss and define a methodology that will determine the best way to develop an engagement strategy for regulators. The Stem Cell Network.NRW is part of this work process.

The consortium website is: http://www.eurogct.org/. More content will be available here in the future.
