Save-the-Date: 11th International Meeting of the Stem Cell Network NRW

As in previous years, both conference days will be filled with a varied scientific program, lectures on the latest research and poster presentations. Fifteen renowned international speakers from the stem cell field are expected to present new developments and advances as well as will discuss ethical-legal-social science issues in the context of stem cell research. In addition, the 11^th International Meeting will also feature presentations by young scientists, selected on abstract submissions. Poster sessions offer junior researchers the opportunity to present their work and discuss it with experts. Of course, there will also be a large industry exhibition and a networking event. The conference language will be English.

Since 2002, the Stem Cell Network North Rhine-Westphalia has been organizing its International Meeting every two years. With regularly more than 600 participants, this is one of the largest congresses in this field of research in Europe. Thanks to the support of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, it has always been possible to invite leading stem cell researchers from all over the world. We are very pleased that personalities such as Nobel laureate John Gurdon, Rudolf Jaenisch, Fred Gage and Kenneth Chien have given lectures at the past International Meetings in North Rhine-Westphalia.
