A new Board of Representatives has been elected during the meeting of the General Assembly on June 11th. In addition to that, there are changes in the Coordination Office.

On June 11th, a virtual meeting of the General Assembly of the Stem Cell Network NRW took place in which the Board of Representatives was unanimously discharged. With this discharge, the term of office of the Board of Representatives ended. The Executive Board would like to thank the voluntary members of the Board of Representatives for their work.

Another item on the agenda was the new election of the Board of Representatives by the official representatives of the member institutions. The number of seats on the Board of Representatives was increased and the board now includes 24 scientists from all member institutions of the Stem Cell Network NRW. The number of academic fields represented by the board has also been expanded and now includes the discipline of Theology. You can find an overview of the Board of Representatives here.

With effect of June 30th, Dr. Benjamin Huppert leaves the Coordination Office of the Stem Cell Network NRW to look for new challenges. Since 2019, he served as Scientific Advisor and contact person for the ethical, legal and social aspects of stem cell research. We thank Dr. Huppert for his excellent work in our team and wish him all the best for his new endeavors!
