The 9th GSCN conference will take place from October 6 to 8 2021. Five international key note lectures by speakers such as Takanori Takebe (Cinncinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, OH) and Alfonso Martinez Arias (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona), sessions on new findings in topics such as organoids or stem cells in regenerative therapies, two poster sessions and two social events will be the highlights of the conference. A wide-ranging industry exhibition and an ELSA symposium will complete the program. Around 400 participants are expected to attend the conference.
So far, the GSCN is planning to hold an onsite event in Ulm. However, since the coronavirus continues to cause severe restrictions on public life worldwide, the final format of the conference (onsite event, onsite event with reduced participation numbers to allow additional space between participants, virtual/online event) will be agreed upon on July 25. To avoid unnecessary administrative efforts, payment of conference fees will only be accepted once the format has been finalized. Nonetheless, conference registration is already open and can be done any time. Junior scientists are especially encouraged to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation.
The deadline for early bird registration and abstract submission to be considered for oral presentation and GSCN travel awards has been extended to July 16 2021.
