Public lecture "Stem cells, cancer and metabolism"

On January 29, at 6:00 pm, the "Scientist in Residence," Professor Sean Morrison, Ph.D., will give his public lecture on "Stem Cells, Cancer, and Metabolism" in the Glaspavillon at Campus Essen (Universitätsstraße 12, 45141 Essen).

Sean Morrison is Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern, Dallas, known for his significant discoveries in stem cell biology and cancer.

Scientist in Residence refers to a visiting professorship that, with the support of Sparkasse Essen, invites world-renowned guest scientists to the University of Duisburg-Essen to engage in intensive exchange with scientists. In addition, the interested public will learn interesting facts from the respective research area in a generally comprehensible lecture.
